Jab jab.. puke puke

Last Thursday, Mama and Papa woke me early to give me a shower. They then brought me to the vet at Sembawang Road.

The animal doc was very nice. Young guy, in fact he looked younger than Papa!
He took a look at my skin dandruff problems and said that I was recovering. :-) He petted me before he poked at me with a sharp needle and poured liquid between my shoulders. Mama said that the liquid is for heartworm prevention, while the injection is for my vacinnation. Kiasu Mama also went one level up to add Canine Coronavirus vacine to the jab. I should be strong, to defeat many viruses. But doc said I shouldn't be going out to public places till my next jab.

Papa asked doc how much I should be eating. Doc replied that I can eat as much as I want, because I am still a growing gal :-) Mama didn't quite like the idea, but Papa has been following doc's advice. I now got more food! Yeah!!!

On the way home, I got a little car sick. The jab, heartworm guard and deworming medicine are too much for me. I puked in my carrier. Too bad, there goes the delicious dog biscuit. But I'm sure I'll get more soon. ;-)

Scary auntie

Today, Papa came with two friends - one uncle and one auntie. They were both very nice, and liked me a lot.

But the auntie was not good at carrying me. She made me so scared that I tried to jump to a chair. I missed and fell. Mama is a little upset over this. But I'm okay, though I don't mind the fussing. :-)

What's the big occasion?

Mama just bought me a harness and a leash. They're pink.

She also got me something called 'Shiny Syrup'.
Papa says that this will help me clear my tearstains. I am starting on the syrup tonight. Will show you my pics in 10 days.
Update: Mama broke the Shiny Syrup, so no more syrup. Instead, I get evening primrose oil & vitamin E. Mama said that this will give me beautiful skin.

Dandruff on my hind paws

Mama and Papa found dandruff on me yesterday. They are both very concerned, so much so that they came back, they had a jar of Oscar C for me.

Oscar C is a green cream. The colour isn't very pretty but it works well. My dandruff is almost gone.

Saturday makeover

Remember the ugly 'coconut' hairstyle Mama gave me? I've spent the last few days scratching the band out of my fur.

Mama gave up on tying my fur yesterday. She announced that I would be getting a fur cut. Sigh!
Saturday marked my D-day - I now have a super ugly look. You see! Sigh, and Papa gave me a shower too. I couldn't escape. But I did try very very hard to run away from Mama's blow-drying.

My blog has moved

Dear everyone,

My dog blog has moved. You can now read abt me here on Blogspot, instead of Blog.com.

Blog.com is driving Mama nuts with the lousy support and slow upload speed. I don't really care, so long as I am still famous. Keke

My 'coconut' hairstyle

Look what Mama did to me today? I've been really good. I actually made lesser evening mess today - I even shredded less paper!
But Mama says I must tie a 'coconut' on my head, to keep the fur from falling into my eyes. I protested, but Papa sided with Mama.

Hrrmph! I look so ugly now. At least, use a nice coloured hair band mah.

Boundless energy not good meh?

Mama just asked me why I don't tire out as much as I did last week.

This was how I look like last week, after playing for half an hour...

In another minute, I would look like this: After a while, I would shut my eyes.
Nowadays, I can play for almost an hour before I start yawning. Like that not good meh? Everyone can play more now. ;)

Anyone wanna come over to play with me?

A devil in an angel’s fur with a little present for Mama and Papa

Mama and Papa leave me at home almost everyday. Every morning, Mama will tell me “Happy, you stay at home and be a good girl k.” while Papa switches on Symphony 92.4 FM for me.

I know they love me, but why must they leave me at home? Mama says that they have to work, so that I can enjoy good dog food. But I hate it. Why can’t they play with me all day? Or bring me along to work, whatever ‘work’ is?

Hrrmph, I’m so unhappy. Mama says I look like a cute cherub. I will teach Mama and Papa that I can also be a devil. Every evening, I will put on my devil’s cloak and make a mess of my pen to tell them how unhappy I am. See what I do:

I will poo and pee all over the newspapers, the way I'm supposed to. But I will also make life difficult for Mama and Papa by shredding the newspapers and leaving them all over my pen.

Eeeks! Give me plain water any day

Eeeeks, I hate barley water. I know many doggies are fussy about their food. But not me, I will happily eat the puppy biscuits that Mama and Papa give me.

Still, I hate it when Mama changes my water. Can’t I just have plain water? The day before yesterday, Mama said that the weather is too hot. To cool everyone down, she made barley water for Papa and me. Only difference is Papa’s water has honey while mine doesn’t. But with or without honey, I really didn’t fancy it. It tastes funny. I absolutely boycotted it.

Yesterday, Mama went nuts again. She had read that Maltese dogs must have vitamin C to have dazzling eyes, and some dog owners feed their Maltese orange juice. So she decided I should have some too. I tasted the juice, and I just had to show Mama how disgusted I am. Please, Mama, stop the fancy drinks. I only need plain water! And maybe milk!
