Mama and Papa brought me to get microchipped today.
We were there at 2pm. As the clinic hadn't yet opened, Papa went to look at the shops nearby.
The doors opened while Papa was away, so Mama brought me in. The vet showed Mama the michrochip needle while preparing the injection. It was such a thick needle! Mama couldn't bare the sight, so she turned away. But I didn't flinched; I also didn't yelped. My vet praised me; he said that I was a brave girl!
We went out and Papa came. He realised that we hadn't done the heartworm jab. Hmmm... what's that? Could I eat that?
Then he carried me into the consulting room. The vet's assistant took blood from my right paw. Okie, I didn't scream but I was really upset. But why was there another needle? :-(
Then he showed Papa my blood and some lines. They were both smiling. Why weren't they bringing me out yet? :-( The clinic was getting scary. The vet suddenly came in... with another needle!!! This time, I shivered. But still I didn't yelped. I must be brave.
After this last injection, Mama and Papa brought me out. They cuddled me a lot and sent me home to rest. Mama promised that there are no more vet visits this year.
